SEE ALL DISTANCES WITHOUT LIMITS
At Indo we are lucky to be able to offer an exclusive range of progressive lens to offer the best visual solution to all users. Freemax technology designs and manufactures the lenses that provide maximum vision, comfort and lightness thanks to its revolutionary manufacturing system.
We also offer the most conventional solutions through Freeform technology.

Design optimisation for every user.
Balance for all uses.
Binocular Balance technology balances the level of astigmatism on both sides of the progression area. Consequently, it is possible to ensure that the level of blurriness perceived by each eye is similar and kept to a minimum.
It improves binocular vision and extends the visual field, especially in terms of intermediate and near vision.
Using the position of the pupil and the mounting height it is possible to determine the location of the progressive surface in relation to the eye and the end of the frame.
With this information, the Clear View technology can modify the distribution of aberrations and significantly reduce them in the useful area of the end lens. This produces a huge reduction of lateral rocking, therefore the adaptation is quicker and the user is guaranteed greater comfort.
Clear View can be used with the Mounting Height or with the Shape of the Frame.
• Mounting Height
Aberrations are displaced below this height.
• Shape of the Frame
In this case, a greater number of aberrations are displayed away from and around the useful area of the lens.
Clear View produces a huge reduction of lateral rocking, therefore the adaptation is quicker and the user is guaranteed greater comfort.
FreeMax provides complete geometric control over the entire lens surface.
The machines used to manufacture these lenses are configured to ensure that only they are able to produce these very slender lenses.
An increase of 40% in the time spent in the machine affords them advantages that are beyond the reach of the rest.
FreeMax is a lens production technology patented by Indo which offers the user tangible differences compared to the FreeForm production.
• Up to 62% more slender.
• Balancing of thickness.
The inset relates to the offsetting of the near distance vision according to the convergence of the eyes when we look at a nearby object.
The Inset may be variable or fixed.
The DNP, vertex distance and work distance, along with the addition of the lens, modify the optical centre of the near distance vision:
In this case, the parameters of the user and the frame are not taken into consideration and the inset is standard and is not optimised for each user.
The DNP, vertex distance and work distance, along with the addition of the lens, modify the optical centre of the near vision zone:
The optimum inset extends some fields of view in intermediate and near distances.
Position of use
On the basis of information about the frame and the user and the frame during use, the difference in strength between the theoretical refraction and the refraction perceived by the user when the lens is used can be corrected while maintaining his visual acuity.
By considering the optometric data, the user is able to perceive the same prescription in his glasses as in the office.
Furthermore, in cases where the requested values are not considered to be normal, the fields of view will not be reduced.
Ad Tech involves the application of numerous design algorithms which fix a near distance vision that is invariable to the changes of addition.
This way, the 100% near distance vision, free from aberrations, is kept constant regardless of the addition.
Increases in natural aberrations from a greater addition are concentrated and get further away from the progression area on account of a combination of the Clear View and Smart Map technologies.
99% of users of this technology do not detect any change in the near distance vision in terms of changes less than or equal to 0.75D of addition.
According to the visual needs concerned, the progression area is the progression of the addition. In other words, the way in which the addition changes along the lens.
The progression area may be standard, RVD or smart.
It is an addition progression concept adapted to current needs, where there is greater demand for near and near-intermediate vision.
It concerns a quicker addition progression than in a standard lens which extends the near distance vision with 100% of the addition.
According to any visual needs detected in the Customisation Test, the acceleration of the addition is modified, i.e. the gradient of progression is modified.
The area of vision is extended in the area of greatest demand by the user. The user is also able to locate his preferred area quickly when he is not in it.
This technology makes it possible to modify both the gradient and the area in which distortions are concentrated.
This paves the way for various kinds of designs such as the Standard, the Near Design or the Customised.
This design is adapted to all users of progressive lenses without giving prominence to any specific area.
• Near Design:
This design optimises near distance vision and is ideal for any users whose demand is greatest for this area.
On the basis of this design and after performing one of the customisation tests, distortions of the area in greatest demand by the user get further away and are concentrated. The area in greatest demand by the user is therefore increased by 19%.
Extended fields of view in the desired areas by reducing the astigmatism gradient.
